Jacksonville is about 200 miles from our Tampa base, a long day’s drive with the rigs. Most bookings here are planned with an overnight so the crew can load in fresh and stay for the full event.
Jacksonville work is mostly corporate and convention business. The Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center downtown, a former railroad terminal on Water Street, hosts trade shows and conferences, and the city’s large employers run their own sales meetings, family days and client events.
From 1421 Massaro Blvd it is about 200 miles by road, roughly three to three and a half hours on I-75 and I-10 or on I-4 and I-95. That is close enough to make a one-day event possible, but an early load-in nearly always means the crew drives up the day before.
Everything from the truck leaving Tampa to the room being clear at the end.
A single evening event is possible with an early start from Tampa. Anything with a morning load-in or a second show day is planned with the crew staying locally.
For convention center work we need the exhibitor kit: booth dimensions, ceiling height, dock times and how power is ordered.
If you have more than one event in North Florida in the same week, tell us. Sharing the travel across bookings brings the cost of each one down.
Academy Sim Racing is based in Tampa at 1421 Massaro Blvd. We do not have an office, showroom or branch in Jacksonville. We travel to Jacksonville for mobile simulator events from our Tampa base, about 200 miles away, and travel is quoted per event.
Send us the venue, the date, your guest count and what the event is for. If you know how many simulators you want, tell us that too.
