RACING SIMULATOR RENTALS
IN MIAMI, FLORIDA

Miami is a travel job for us, about 280 miles from our Tampa base. That changes the plan more than the event does: the crew drives down ahead of load-in, stays local, and runs the show days before driving the rigs home.

BIG SHOWS, BRAND WORK, A LONG DRIVE

The Miami requests that make sense for us are the ones where simulators earn their travel: a trade show stand at the Miami Beach Convention Center, a brand launch or activation that needs wrapped rigs, or a multi-day corporate meeting where the activation runs all day. A single two hour party is usually better served by a local supplier, and we will say so.

It is about 280 miles by road from 1421 Massaro Blvd, roughly four and a half hours on I-75 across Alligator Alley before Miami traffic. We do not do that drive on the morning of an event.

What changes for a Miami booking

  • Travel is planned in days. The crew usually arrives the day before load-in, and lodging and meals for the team are part of the quote.
  • Convention center rules. Large venues set load-in windows, dock access and sometimes labor requirements. We need the exhibitor kit before we can quote properly.
  • Brand standards. Activations here are often judged on how they look in photos. Wraps and on-screen branding need lead time, so start early.

WHAT TO KNOW LOCALLY

Send the exhibitor kit first

Booth size, ceiling height, dock times and how power is ordered. For a trip this long we want every constraint known before the truck leaves Tampa.

Multi-day makes the math work

Travel, lodging and staff time are fixed costs whether the event runs one day or three. A longer booking spreads them out, which is why most out-of-market work we take is multi-day.

Build in wrap time

If the rigs are being wrapped for your brand, allow several weeks, and more if the design still needs approval on your side.

Academy Sim Racing is based in Tampa at 1421 Massaro Blvd. We do not have an office, showroom or branch in Miami. We travel to Miami for mobile simulator events from our Tampa base, about 280 miles away, and travel and lodging are quoted per event.

Questions

WHAT PLANNERS ASK

Do you deliver racing simulators to Miami?
Yes. We travel to Miami and Miami Beach from our Tampa base with our own crew, usually arriving the day before load-in.
Do you have a Miami location?
No. Academy has one facility, in Tampa. Miami is a market we travel to, not a location we operate from.
How far is it from your base?
About 280 miles by road, roughly four and a half hours before traffic.
Can you exhibit at the Miami Beach Convention Center?
Yes, as a supplier on your stand. Send the exhibitor kit and we will plan around the venue rules, power ordering and load-in windows.
Is a one-day Miami event worth it?
Sometimes. Travel and lodging cost the same for one day as for three, so we will give you an honest number and tell you if a local supplier would serve a short event better.
How much does a Miami rental cost?
Rental, delivery and staffing are the same three lines as any event. Travel, lodging and meals for the crew are added on top, so we quote per event. Our homepage shows where typical Tampa Bay events land, and a person on our team confirms every final number.
